 Corner Units

Under bench corner cupboards are often dark holes where you get   down on your hands and knees to find things. One solution to this is a   rotating carousel unit. In the best of these units the doors rotate inside   the cupboard giving excellent access. Rotators are good for storage   of large objects such as rice cookers, food processors and bulk food   containers.

A simple two-door corner unit can be improved by using two shelves   and reducing their depth. This storage is useful for larger items that   are not high use.

If there is more than one deep corner in the kitchen it is a good idea to   treat them differently. If you have one corner cupboard you could have   a rotator in the other or even create a void by having a drawer unit   each side of the corner. Two drawer units will give a lot more space   that one corner cupboard.

The current trend to a kitchen layout with one wall and an island   eliminates the corners and gives a kitchen where all the space is   easily accessible.
